Making Congress Work Again:  A Bipartisan Discussion with Former Members of Congress,  Wednesday, October 7th, 7-8:30,  Gannett Auditorium in Palamountain Hall.  The two former members of Congress will discuss their views on whether Congress is broken, and what solutions might make a difference.  There will be a long Q&A period where the public can ask questions.  The talk is open to the public.

We are having great pair of former members of Congress coming, see attached bios:

The event is part of Congress to Campus, a flagship program of the Former Members of Congress that brings bipartisan teams of former U.S. Representatives and Senators to colleges and universities across the country. The program gives students a unique opportunity to engage directly with those who have served in Congress, offering candid insights into the inner workings of American democracy.

The Former Members of Congress- Congress to Campus Program sends a former Republican and Democratic member of Congress to meet with young people to bring today’s issues to the forefront and showcase the benefits of healthy partisanship and civility within disagreement.

We have a great pair of members coming.
