Thanks for reporting that John. Those of us who can’t get back up north this year wouldn’t hear about it otherwise. It has been a while since Spit and Spat were vandalised. The culprits were probably copycat youngsters, seeing statues falling nationwide, who have no reason to vandalize other than causing mischief.
