  1. Our last meeting with Mary Lou at the polo grounds was the most memorable.
One can never forget her warm touch and sincere gratitude.

Mrs. Whitney was the epitome of class.
    She will be missed.

  2. I am very sad tonight. I had the opportunity to interact with Mrs. Whitney a number of times over the past few years. She was kind and gracious and funny and surprisingly down-to-earth. She was also strong willed and determined which must have helped greatly as she recovered from her stroke (with dignity). She certainly lead a full life and she did so much for our community and our track. No one will fill this void. Condolences to her family and to her devoted staff.
