Volunteers Needed to Help Plant Trees in City
Sustainable Saratoga is seeking volunteers to help them on Saturday, April 30, with their annual tree planting. Strength is not a prerequisite–just enthusiasm!

I remember planting trees with my kids when The Plan of Action replaced many trees on Broadway and adjoining streets, in front of the Drink Hall, and other places, back in 1973. Mayor Watkin and Commissioner Tom McTygue endorsed the effort, which was sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce as part of a revitalization of downtown. Saratoga Springs is blessed to have its beautiful tree-lined streets. Thanks, Sustainable Saratoga!
