  1. Thanks John for all the effort that you put into your blog. You have helped fill the void in news and information that our community has seen in recent years. It is important that citizens have an opportunity to hear about local issues and be able to voice their opinions. Congratulations on reaching the ten year milestone.

  2. Dear John.

On returning from my annual sojourn to my native Island of Nevis in the British Leewards, I was delighted to read that “Saratoga Politics” is marking its Tenth Anniversary and I wish to be counted among the very first to recognize this achievement.

Your contribution to the political discourse of Saratoga Springs is not unlike that of Jay, Madison and yours truly when we crafted the Federalist Papers to inform all New Yorkers of the merits of the proposed Constitution. Ah, those were the days.

It has been suggested that I send a complete set of the Federalist to the current president but I have been informed by others that he does not read.

While I am happy to be back here and plan to visit my father-in-law’s farm in Schylerville and drop in at Madame Jumel’s on Circular. I must say, however, that this heat is unbearable. Much nicer in the Leewards.

But I digress. Congratulations on your accomplishment and I look forward to many more years of “Saratoga Politics.” Perhaps I shall comment from time to time for it seems that some of your City Council members provide much grist for the mill.

    Regards,

Now that is really funny, and so true. Deserves a smiley emoji.

Congrats to John K on persevering for ten years. Your blog deserves to be read by every Saratoga Springs citizen. It’s the only way to be informed. Stay the course, and don’t let the bastards get you down.
